Cycling Sponsorship

Since 2003, Richard S. Alembik, PC has co-sponsored the East Point Track Club, a cycling team that competes in elite level bicycle track racing.

The firm is also a supporter of the East Point Velodrome Association, a non-profit corporation that manages the Dick Lane Velodrome in East Point, Georgia, promotes bicycle track racing, and runs the East Point "Bicycle Little League" to introduce the sport to children ages 4 and up.

The firm would like to congratulate East Point Track Club racer Steve Hill (pictured right) for an amazing gold medal performance in the sprint competition in the Masters US national track championships in 2005.

The EPTC's results in 2003 included podium finishes (fourth and fifth place) in the Madison and points race events at the master’s national track championships, and fifth place in the team pursuit event at the elite national track championships.

Pro Bono Legal Services

Richard S. Alembik, PC performs pro bono publico legal work through the auspices of a group of attorneys known as the DeKalb Volunteer Lawyers. Mr. Alembik has performed as a "guardian ad litem" for minors of primarily Hispanic background in connection with divorce and child custody matters. He investigates and advises the judges of the Superior Court of DeKalb County with the goal of achieving resolutions that are in the best interests of the minor.
